#100WCGU week #162 – childhood memories

The prompt this week is to write about a memory of a childhood song or story

When we were much younger, my sister and I enjoyed exploring our mums record collection. One day we came across one by Max Bygraves, the photo on the sleeve catching our attention. On one side ‘Teddy bears picnic’ and on the other ‘I’m a pink toothbrush’. We played it over and over again, dancing around our lounge until we dropped in fits of giggles from exhaustion. The toothbrush song we found particularly amusing, as it was about a romance between two toothbrushes, who met and wanted to get married rather quickly.
